The promoter wanted to try something different for this years Opening Party for the UK Polo Season, rather than a nightclub and a start of 10.00pm on a Sunday evening he wanted to go for a smaller venue and an early start. When we met for the site visit I was very impressed with the layout of Westcroft Polo clubs facilities and felt that I could quite easily turn the venue into a pumping little party venue. On the night I used a 10000 watt JBL and crown set-up along with a club laser system and a 6 moving heads spaced out round the room for full effect. The layout also meant that people were able to either be inside or out in the open as well.
After a slow ealry start the venue began to fill and we had hit our target numbers by half eight, which was very encouraging. Knowing the crowd like I do the music was very eclectic, from Agentinian Reggaeton to R&B, Commmercial and Tech House. The guy from the Polo Times had plenty of opportunity to get some great shots of the evening.
Even more encouraging where the comments on Facebook the next day.
