I DJ'd at two weddings over the Bank Holiday and have another two this weekend. Last Saturday, I played the music at 60's soul / Northern Soul themed wedding. DJ'd at a great wedding at the weekend. The location was a converted old barn deep in the Royal Berkshire countryside, there was about 150 guests, which really helps make the wedding go with swing (why do more couples not invite more guests to the evening reception?) Saturday night involved a Family 30th Birthday Party in a lovely 4 star hotel in leafy surrey. A lot of Soul and Motown was requested early on, which made a pleasant change. On Sunday night, I was the DJ at the Polo Gold Cup after party. 200 for dinner plus another 100 more in the evening, so plenty of people to entertain. Here is my playlist for when I was the DJ for a 21st party. There were nearly 250 people there so it was a great atmosphere. I was using about 6000 watts from 3 crown amps into 5 JBL MRX speakers so plenty of clear and pumping bass.
