Surrey Parties

Surrey Parties DJ and disco for your party, wedding or special event. We have a wealth of experience of playing at exclusive parties all over Surrey and the home counties, from Polo After Parties to mansions on the Surrey Hills Spectrum Disco is the Surrey DJ to hire. This year Paul Linney has worked alongside DJ’s such as Sigala and Philip George as well as Groove Armada and Brandon Block, he has already been booked to play in Ibiza again next year so he knows how to party. Paul is also a regular at McQueen in Shoreditch-London, he has been asked to be a resident there after playing some successful gigs at the back end of the year.

Musically Paul is happy playing any genre as he has the ability to know which tracks will get people up on the dance floor. He can be heard playing anything from House to Hip-hip, Grime to Goth and all things in between. His skill is reading the dance floor and ensuring that the party works for both you and your guests. Let him know the kind of event you are after and he will work with you to ensure that you get exactly that, a party your friends will talk about long after its finished.

Should you need catering at your event then we recommend Greedy Cows Grazing https://greedycowsgrazing.co.uk/

Wedding at The Wharf, Teddington, London

This was my first time playing at The Wharf in Teddington, London, although I had been there as a customer several times and always enjoyed myself. This was a real family wedding, with something for everyone. A childrens disco before the first dance and party games as well. The playlist was varied to suit all ages and was a hit with the groom who messaged me the next day: Hi Paul. Thank you so much everyone had an amazing time.      Maggie May Rod Stewart Disco Inferno The Trammps Late Nite Tuff Guy - Do U Wanna Get Down Single Ladies (Put A Ring On I Beyoncé I Wanna

Corporate event at The NED

The NED  Such a cool place.... I had been DJing in Ibiza at the beginning of the week, so it was nice to have such a prestigious London corporate gig to come back to. The Client was a city firm celebrating its  8th birthday by inviting 150 brokers to an evening buffet and free bar. My role was to play background music to the mainly male guests, however when all the business talking was done, I upped the tempo and got them all dancing. The music that work was seemed to be funky / disco based tracks, as can be seen from the playlist below. Here is what the

40th birthday with a 90’s vibe

90's vibe with some cheese early on.... oh and a bit of Madonna and Michael Jackson please. After a week DJing in Ibiza it made a refreshing change to play at this 40th birthday party and it was also an enormous amount of fun. The client seemed happy e-mailing early the following day to say this: I want to thank you so much for being everything I absolutely wanted! You were fantastic- the quality of sound was amazing and lights and projector brilliant.  The choice of songs was perfect and yes you absolutely nailed it! Music is and has been so important to me and I am so glad

Festival Weddings

I got to DJ at an amazing festival wedding a few weeks back. It had everything, from fire pits to hog roasts and chocolate fountains and with over 250 guests it really was a fun occasion. Musically, I played at the ceremony and then some chilled background music during the wedding breakfast, till the band started. They played wedding favourites and I followed on with some funk and disco till midnight, from midnight till 02.00 it was more orientated to the younger guests so there was something for everyone across the whole day.     Here is what I played after midnight.... Cirencester Polo After Party

When Cirencester Polo Club approached us to put on an After Party at the Intuition County Cup  we felt it was the right opportunity to take our successful "After Party" into the shires. The events had always worked well in the Home Counties for the big games this would interesting to see if would have the same success 100 miles from home. The team from Cirencester where very switched on and between us we were active on social media to promote the night. On the day it started raining which was a real dampener after all the brilliant sunshine of the previous weeks. However, as you can see from

Holborn Clio 90’s

I was playing the 90's soundtrack for the exclusive launch party for our totally bodacious 90s pop-up shop with Renault UK, celebrating 20 years of the Clio in Hogarth House, Holborn, London. The brief was play all things 90 and the venue was decked out the same, along with a few of the cast of the only way is Essex we partied 90's style into the night and again on the Friday. It was great fun playing 90's tunes over the two days and bringing back some good memories and vibes....     Take The Long Way Home Sunshiners Mr. Loverman Shabba Ranks (featuring Chevel Beat Goes On (Original

Queen After Party at the 02 London

O2 London - Queen After Party: I was asked to supply the sound system and DJ at the After Party for Queen and Adam Lambert when they played at the O2 this year, It has turned out to be quite a year with regards Queen, when I was playing in Zanzibar earlier this year I was taking to Freddie Mercury's birth place in Stone Town and then I have been asked to play at Freddie Rocks in Pikes Ibiza a night to celebrate his birthday. (Pikes is the location of some of Freddies most hedonistic parties) He was Farrokh Bulsara, born on September 5th, 1946, in the British

Guards Polo Club - This was my second gig this year at the world famous Guards Polo Club  This time it was to play after the Outsourcing Cup on Finals Day, on Sunday 24 June, is historically attended by HM The Queen and our President, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
