50th Party in Surrey – Reggae Ska and a bit of 80’s. I was approached by the Head of School at Surrey University to DJ at her 50th after a recommendation from her students, which was nice. After having a chat on her musical preferences this was definitely going to be an interesting gig….. The request went like “an 80’s theme- mostly dance, I was never a Duran fan! I was more mod into ska back then which progressed to RandB, Reggae and Lovers in the 90’s” After consulting with the birthday girl I cheesed it up a little bit near the end to keep some of her 250 guests happy, but ended in a Reggae fest for her.
