National Television Awards After Party – O2 Arena

I was invited to DJ at the National Television Awards After Party at the O2 Arena along with my good friend Rusty Egan from Visage. This was a long day but a lot of fun. I got to the venue at 1.30 and took about half an hour to clear security with my van and get the AAA security pass (access all areas)

After off loading my sound system (brought in to give the Indogo Club room’s sound system a 10,000 watt boost plus some of my lighting to effectively turn it into a nightclub ) we went to see David Walliams practising his part as the new presenter taking over form Ant and Dec. Then it was time to get changed and off to the Red Carpet reception area, which was fun and allowed me to catch up with Vernon Kay, with whom I have done some work on previous occasions.

And the winners were………

Factual – Jesy Nelson, Odd One Out

Comedy – Mrs Brown’s Boys

Talent Show – Strictly Come Dancing

Serial Drama Performance – Katie McGlynn (Coronation Street)

Drama Performance – Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders)

Challenge Show – Great British Bake Off

Newcomer – Peter Ash (Coronation Street)
