House Culture was started by two friends who first met on a dance floor in Shoreditch as strangers in 2012, and kept bumping into each other at different events across London over the next few years, House Culture is a platform that aims to showcase the music and culture that brought these two friends and so many other people across the world together – House Music Culture.
They came and saw me play at Pikes last year when the party won best one-off event on the Island and then again saw me recently at Putney Pies. They then asked me to do an exclusive mix for them https://soundcloud.com/houseculturenet/house-culture-mix-014-paul-linney
This is what they had to say “
Time to bring you all another House Culture mix, and this episode comes from Paul Linney. Paul is by no means a one-size-fits-all DJ. He experiments with Deep, Vocal, Tribal and Minimal House, with a bit of Disco for good measure. As you’ve probably gathered, he can often be found in the summer months behind the ones and twos at Pikes, and in various venues around London the rest of the year.
Pikes were supposed to be throwing their opening party this weekend, but unfortunately that, along with pretty much every other social event during these times, has had to be postponed.
THAT SAID… what better way to get over those quarantine blues than by bringing the spirit of Pikes and Ibiza to your front room whilst being stuck at home.”
