Santa Dash 3000 Father Christmas’s running 5 and 10k courses around Clapham Common all raising money for GOSH – Great Ormond Street Hospital. Setting up at 8.00 I started playing Xmas tunes about 9.00 through an amazing sound system installed all round the course and beefed up with several 5k stacks in the centre of the common.
There was a 20 minute break when a band of French drummers played, then it was into upbeat tunes to get the runners in the mood. I finished off with more Xmas tunes that got me right in the Christmas spirit and that of the organisers judging by the e-mails below:
