Another great party organised by Georgie of http://www.etherealevents.co.uk/ there was one very happy client at the end of the evening.
200 turned up to celebrate a 50th Party in the grounds of a large Kent country house
I played a warm up back ground set for the guests arriving and during the meal. I was also asked to record the speeches, which after hearing them, I can understand why as they were excellent.
Following on from this was the ban called “Carwash” The band is made up of some of the UK’s top session musicians with credits ranging from Robbie Williams, Blur and Lisa Stansfield as well as performances on Top Of The Pops. They have been booked by Prince Charles, the King of Bahrain and Richard Branson. They were helped by Joe who ran the sound desk through my PA system for them http://jbsound.co/, its great working with guys like this.
The marquee and bar was supplied by the chaps from http://www.brooksmarquees.com/ and a very professional and efficent job they did to.
I then played on till the early hours, even got asked to play an 60 minutes by the birthday girl…..
